A NEW, LUXURIOUS long-distance Volvo coach is attracting the selective tastes of political dignitaries, elite sporting teams, and welcoming any high-end corporate clients and celebrities to Adelaide and beyond. Kanga Coachlines’ Signature Series B11R three-axle coach best showcases the city sights in premium luxury, safety and comfort.

The flagship vehicle is one of the most modern of its kind in Australasia to date and in an exclusive High Gloss Black with premier ‘black as night’ window tinting, the Coach Concepts body design brings Limousine cool to the Mawson Lakes-based Kanga Coachlines fleet – a favorite of the Adelaide Crows football team.

Drivers and operators will love the handling and efficiency of the Volvo B11R three-axle chassis, which boasts the award-winning Volvo I-Shift 12-speed manual gearbox with automatic gear changing system. The I-Shift transmission is factory-prepared for installation with or without a compact retarder, plus features different program packages that optimise the bus for its application area.

The 11-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel D11C engine, with turbocharger and intercooler, produces 450hp(332kW) @1600-1900rpm and 2150Nm@950-1400rpm, which makes it ideal for tackling the various inclines and hills in beautiful wine regions, or coasting along effortlessly down country highway stretches.

The I-Shift transmission is smart, innovative and adaptive to all terrains and conditions. It allows you to choose between fully automatic gear-changes or manual selection, and has a performance mode with a kick-down function that utilises the engine’s capacity to the maximum, making it a pleasure for drivers to operate.
